1999 represents an
important year for our company. In our workshop the first
statue in White Marble depicting the Pope Giovanni Paolo
II° was realised, at a height of 2.20 metres. The
sculpture was commissioned by the Archbishop of Salerno for
the inauguration of the square Nuovo Seminario
Metropoplitano in which it will be erected. The piece was
treated with particular care throughout the various
working phases, from the clay model to the one in plaster,
and finally to the realisation in marble, beginning from
the photos provided by the Holy State so as to be as
faithful as possible to the image of the Holy Father. Click the pictures to enlarge
